My Basketball

First I want to tell you about my basketball. It is important to make sure that you have a basketball that is the right size for you. I have small hands, so I am using a smaller basketball. It is size 27". That might be a little too big for me, but it is working.

One thing that makes my basketball special is a black line that my dad and I drew around it. This line goes all the way around the ball in the very center. We drew the line by wrapping a rubber-band around the ball (on top of the air hole) and tracing with a black marker.

This line is very important in helping me make sure I'm shooting the basketball the right way. I will tell you more about that in my next post.

Introduction

Hi. My name is Alex and I'm 8 years old. I love basketball and I am trying to become a great basketball shooter. That's what this blog is about. My dad is my basketball shooting coach and he is also helping me with this blog. He loves working with me on my basketball shooting.

I'm going to tell you all about how I practice and the drills that I do. I'm also going to post pictures and videos.
